A Week With Nana
As you know, Millie is out of commission for a little while. Jordy's mom (Nana) took a week of vacation to spend with Kaylea. They had a great time. It made it easy on us. I had no worries while I was at work. I knew Nana would take great care of her. Too bad I did not get any pictures - maybe next time!

Millie's Surgery
My mom had her big surgery on Friday. She did great. She makes friends wherever she goes. She was hamming it up with the nurses, surgeons, and anyone else she came in contact with. The surgeon said that everything went perfect. As far as we know, at this point, she is cancer free. YEA! We will know more a week from Tuesday when the results of the pathology report come back.
We took Kaylea over to see her Millie in the hospital We figured she would be able to cheer her up. It worked. Somehow, I missed out on getting any pictures of Kaylea with her Millie!

Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day! We didn't capture the best pictures, but our little girl hasn't been feeling great. I think she has come down with her first cold. She has had a runny nose and hasn't been sleeping well at night. She seems to be in a pretty good mood during the day. I just want her to feel better. As you can see from the pictures, she is easily entertained. You can give her a bag of noodles out of the pantry, a metal spoon, a can of formula, or a plastic cup and she is happy as can be.
I love...
One of Kaylea's favorite toys is her Baby Einstein bouncer. She has recently discovered that she has the ability to make herself bounce. She loves it and thinks it is very funny. Below is a short video clip that we took the other day.

Happy Birthday Uncle Art
Tonight we celebrated Art's birthday. As you can see, Art made sure Kaylea had a good time. She had her first real taste of sugar! And, I suppose I could have killed Art, but it's not going to be the last time she has sugar. I surprised myself (and my husband) and went with the flow. Besides, she only got a taste. Kaylea also sat in a high chair at a restaurant for the first time. We had to put a blanket behind her, but she was big enough. Happy Birthday Art!
