Petting Zoo
We took Kaylea to the petting zoo on Saturday morning. Who knew they didn't open until 10am? Don't they know Kaylea gets up much earlier than that. We waited on the petting zoo to open by checking out the ducks. Kaylea knows what ducks are. She had a great time checking out the animals, but she really loved the slide. She fell over and hit her head at one point and after about 5 second of crying, she wanted right back on. That's my girl!

Mickey Crazy
Kaylea is obsessed with Mickey. She is constantly saying "icky" or "hicky" or some other version of the word. Kaidyn had an extra large Mickey Mouse balloon at her birthday part and decided to bring it over for Kaylea. Kaylea has been hugging it, pouncing on it, and shaking it to death. Thanks, Kaidyn! Kaylea loves it.

Head Bop
Kaylea is doing this new thing that her daddy showed her. We are referring to it at the head bop. She thinks it's her golden ticket. Mostly she does it when you tell her no, but sometimes she just walks through the house or sits in the high chair and does it. It's hilarious!

Blah, Blah, Blah
My blog will not allow me to upload pictures right now, but I wanted to type out a few things I want to remember about Kaylea right now. She has started blowing kisses. I captured it on video. She puts her hand up to her mouth and pulls it away. She doesn't actually blow. When you say Peek-A-Boo, it's an automatic reaction for her to put her little hands over her face (or sometimes her ears).
Her vocabulary is expanding every day. Some of her new words that she will say regularly include - Pop, Nana, Mickey (we know what she's saying, but she doesn't quite have the M), Go Go Go, Row Row Row, Mama.
I am trying to capture all of these moments on video. It can be difficult at times because I also try to enjoy every moment and I never want to go grab the camera. I'll post some video when I get the blogger to work.

Ghost
Kaylea has decided she wants to practice being a ghost for Halloween - she walks around the house with her blanket in front of her fact. The only problem is, she can't see where she is going and runs into things and falls down. Jordy had told me about this last week, so when she ran into her crib today, it was so hard not to laugh. Is that terrible?
