impromptu plans!

Life has been so busy lately.  I'm adjusting to my new job...we have been moving constantly...we still have stuff left in Lafayette...it's like we never stop!  We took some time out Thursday night, after eating dinner at home (we did this all the time in Lafayette, but have been eating out a little too much since the move) to color Easter eggs.  Kaylea had a great time and so did I.  I think I like doing it more than she does.

Saturday afternoon we went to an egg hunt at Wesley Chapel.  I give them an A for effort, but it wasn't the best.  There was lunch, a puppet show, and then the egg hunt.  I think they had a bigger turn out than expected.  The hunt was indoors and by the time we made it to the rooms, there weren't any eggs left.  Kaylea got 3 eggs...she was a little disappointed, but not too much.

We went to Chick Fil A for more lunch (I don't do hot dogs) and to let Kaylea play.

We finished the night at Katie & Matt's house.  I text Katie this morning to see what they were up to and they told me they were thinking of going to an egg hunt...she mentioned having one ourselves and before you know it, that's just what we did!  They had pizza and we brought dessert!  We all brought 12 or more eggs to hide.  The kids had fun finding the eggs and then hiding them again without candy inside!
