mommy & me tea party

Saturday morning, Kaylea and I had some alone time planned.  While researching places to have birthday party, I came across a Mommy & Me Tea Party at KaZoing and knew I had to sign this girl up.  She loves tea and loves having tea parties at home.  I really didn't know what to expect.  It was over the top.  

The two princesses, Belle & Snow White, came out to greet us and take us back to the glamour studio.  The little ladies were then allowed to go pick out a dress to wear.  Kaylea decided she wanted to look like Snow White.  They explained that Snow White would do their hair and Belle would do their make-up and nails.  Kaylea selected purple lipstick and purple nail polish with sparkles.  

After they were made up, they participated in a princess fashion show.  The princesses showed them how to pose and walk down the runway.  They learned how to hold their dress like a princess and how to wave like a princess.  Kaylea was all about this.  

There was time to color before having our tea party.  Finally, tea and cake were served.  We had peach tea or lemonade.  Kaylea enjoyed both.  We had angel food cake.  It was pretty funny - the princesses asked if anyone wanted another piece of cake and Kaylea yells, "my mom just ate all of hers!"  Thanks, girl!

After having our tea party, the princesses posed for pictures.  The owner came in to take a picture of Kaylea with Snow White.  She thought it was cool that there was a mini Snow White.  Finally, the girls got to play freeze dance.  Kaylea wouldn't let me dance with her most of the time - this girl is too independent.  She finally invited me up for one of the last dances.  

I guess it's official - we have a little princess!
