I took off work a little early Friday to take Kaylea for a physical. She had her 2 year well check and really didn't need to go back, but they told me she needed a physical form completed and I wanted to meet a new doctor for her in the area anyway, so it kinda worked out (I'm sure I'm going to get a pretty bill from this one).
Kaylea's new doctor is Dr. Wood, and I LOVED her. I'm not sure what it was, but she seemed to connect with me and Kaylea...and we didn't have to wait.
Kaylea weighed 27.9 pounds (almost up to the 50th percentile) and was 35.25'' tall (also, almost the 50th percentile). Dr. Wood asked if she was starting to put 2-3 word sentences together, and just about that time, Kaylea started rambling with her 6-8 word sentences :) Dr. Wood said her speech was very advanced and we should just keep doing what we are doing. We are so lucky to have a healthy girl!
