Jordy and I decided that we should take a few days off together with Kaylea for her birthday.  It helped me justify our alone trip to Cabo last months.  We wanted to spend some time doing some things that she enjoyed.  I will admit that I was hesitant and almost cancelled this trip because I thought the water was going to be cold, but I'm so glad we went because our girl had the best time!

We got up Sunday morning and headed to French Lick.  We swam for several hours before taking Kaylea for a nap rest time.  She would not go to sleep.  We headed to Chicago's for some of the best pizza I have ever had.  Kaylea ate spaghetti with butter sauce (her choice). 

We went back to Big Splash for some more swim time.  The second time around, daddy was the only one who got in the water, but mommy watched.  Kaylea is such a brave girl.  Daddy took her on the slide the first time and I went to go with her the second time and she went down on her own.  By the end of the trip, we didn't even have to walk up the stairs with her!  When it was time to go, she kept asking for one last time.  We let her go one last time about 5 times before we convinced her we needed to go to the room.  She was only convinced when we said we would go find a snack. 

The moments memories are made - we went to the store downstairs and they really didn't have anything, so we got change for the vending machine.  Then, we found out the machine on our floor didn't work, so we went to Floor 2 where the snack she wanted wasn't available...and finally, we found what we were looking for on Floor 4 - GOLDFISH & WATER!

We slept in on Monday and ate breakfast before the 3 hour drive home...
