We planned her part a few months back and thought it would be awesome to have at Shannan's house because she has a pool in the back yard and a trampoline. It ended up working out fine. We went simple this year and simply ordered pizzas.
Kaylea had a blast at her party. It was a change from last year when she felt overwhelmed by all of the people. Last year she went upstairs and hid under her desk. This year, I never want to forget that after we sang Happy Birthday she asked if we could sing it again.
When she opened presents, I was a little nervous. I was afraid she was going to get something she didn't like (at the moment) and tell someone. I don't know why I worried, because she was fine. She was overwhelmed with the presents. They just kept coming. I'm not sure we can get them in the car to get them back to Lafayette.
Kaylea is very blessed and so are we. She had so many awesome friends and family members come out to celebrate with her yesterday and we are so thankful!
