I have always loved cats. Jordy is allergic to cats. We learned this after buying a Persian cat when I turned 21. The cat passed and I assumed we would never have another cat. Then I started doing some research and came across Siberian cats. They are one of the top 10 hypoallergenic breads of cats. They produce less dander than a regular cat and they are still long haired. I was super excited. We were going to wait and get Kaylea one for Christmas, but we found a breeder near Lexington, Kentucky who had some cats ready to go. I sent a deposit and then decided to wait for a girl. I got good news the same day. She had a girl come available, so we scooped her up.
Jordy met the owner at the Louisville airport this morning at 5:15 am (OMG) because they were shipping 2 other cats to Canada at 6:00 a.m. So, meet Acey. It is a long story as to how we got the name. Kaylea wanted to call her Flower. I wanted to name her Monkey. Jordy suggested Acey because that is what I wanted to name Kaylea. When the cat I arrived, I was back to wanting to call her Monkey, but Kaylea was stuck on Acey, so that is who we have.
