The Melting Pot

It is hard to think of gifts for the holidays.  This year we decided to take Nana and Pop out for dinner as an Easter present. We went to the Melting Pot.  We had been trying to decide if Kaylea was old enough to go and if she would enjoy it.  We decided to give it a whirl. She did awesome.  Dinner was almost 2 hours long.  She tried the cheese, ate several apples, and bread. She also tried steak for the first time.  She wanted to make a face like she didn't like it, but she loved it and admitted it. She actually ate several pieces. We of course finished the night with dessert.  Her favorite thing were the Oreo covered marshmallows.

We had a great time and fit in some adult conversation between sweet conversations with a 6 year old.  We are soaking in the last moments before our move to DC.
