cookie decorating party

Saturday morning we had some friends over to decorate cookies.  Kaylea kept saying she was having a party!  Kaylea and I used the sugar cookies we made earlier in the week and grabbed some things to decorate with and we were ready to go.  The kids did a pretty good job.  I had to frost all of Kaylea's cookies, but she enjoyed dumping the sprinkles on.  She did not stop!

After the cookie decorating, the kids played together.  Kaylea wasn't all that happy to share her toys.  It was kind of crazy to me because she seems to share so well at daycare.  However, I suppose this was a little different because we were at home on her own territory.  This is the first time we've had multiple kids to our house and she didn't know what to do.  After the first melt down, she was OK with sharing and seemed to have a great time. 

Later that night (after no nap for Kaylea), Owen came over to play with Kaylea while we went out with his parents.  He & Kaylea stayed up until 10:30 playing with Miss Marlene.  They finally crashed and we were lucky enough to have Kaylea sleep until 9:00 this morning.  This happened the last time Owen came over to play.  We are going to invite him over more often.
