Kaylea was invited to her first sleepover. I was sure she wouldn’t stay the night. It was at our neighbor’s house. She and Ava have become very good friends. As we were walking out of the house for the party she suddenly decided she wanted to try to stay the night, so we packed up her sleeping bag and overnight bag and headed out the door.
I was fully expecting a call. In fact, I didn’t sleep very well. I was checking my phone and making sure I didn’t miss a call or a text from someone telling me to come pick her up. Daddy and I were very proud of her for staying all night, but I must admit, the house was awfully quiet without her there.
