Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone. We had a blast, but I didn’t take one picture. The Zuerchers (minus Matt) drove in on Wednesday evening to stay with us for Thanksgiving. We started with a visit to Chuck E Cheese. Kaylea hasn’t wanted to go there in forever, but we had a bunch of coins to use and she was happy to go with Owen. We came back to the house and hung out for a bit.
Thanksgiving morning I woke up and purchased a few items online before running the Fast Fred 5 mile race. It was cold, but not quite as cold as last year. I was home by 10:30 and ready to get the day going. We had plans to have the family over at 1pm. I asked Kaylea if she wanted to say the prayer or if she wanted me to. She volunteered. She was a little shy, but oh so cute. We had a great day. Jen & I hit the stores in the evening for a couple of hours with baby Abby while Jordy stayed behind with the older kids. Thankfully, most of my shopping was already completed so there wasn’t too much to even look for.
Friday morning the kids played and we had lunch at Chic Fil A before our friends headed back toward Indy. We came home and started decorating for Christmas. By Friday we were ready to sit back and relax for a little while.
